GENERATOR use is only permitted between the hours of 9am – 11am, and from 6pm – 8pm.
CAMPFIRES: YOU MUST HAVE A FIREPERMIT Included with purchase of wood if you bring your own wood it must be free of nails, chemicals and paint. Stop by the office to purchase firepermit or through our KIOSK if office is closed. Please refer to Fire Permit for
Rules and Regulations. IN CASE OF PROVINCIAL FIRE BAN DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HAVE A FIRE AS YOU WILL FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES. FIRE PERMITS MUST BE DISPLAYED ON POST. FIRES MUST BE OUT BY 11 PM
RECYCLING AND GARBAGEDumpsters are located on the grounds. We would ask you to leave your site as you found it and deposit all garbage in dumpsters.
There is a recycling bin near the wash house. (s) Smokers: Cigarette butts are regarded as garbage Please don’t throw them on the ground or fire pit, ash cans are available at office
SMOKING Smoking is allowed in the great outdoors, but not in any buildings on campground. To avoid possible fires, please extinguish in a proper container and not on ground. Ash cans are available at office New smoking cannabis can only done inside your camping unit (trailer, tent or RV)
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGESModerate Drinking is allowed within your own Campsite. Public Intoxication will not be tolerated we are a family campground.
CAMPER'S CONDUCTIf our Staff or Night Security deem your Behavior to be inappropriate towards them, property, or our guests you will be asked to Leave if you do not abide you will be escorted off property by the RCMP
LOST AND FOUNDPlease return all found items to office.
PETS Must be leashed always and must remain within your campsite area and cannot be left unattended. Dogs are not permitted in public areas such as; picnic areas, or public buildings including washrooms and also shower buildings. You must clean up dog waste. Max 2 dogs.There is a OFF LEASH DOG PARK IN GOLDENDogs that are aggressive to strangers or exessive barking are not permitted, complaints from other guests about your pet regarding aggessive or exessive barking will result in eviction. PICNIC TABLES Each site is provided a picnic table. If you combine tables it is your responsibility to move the picnic tables back.
GUESTS Must register at office and must vacate campground by 10 pm (Please refer to map for Visitor Parking)

Maximum of 14 Night Stay Golden Municipal Campground does not allow people here to set up residency in Golden. If you are working in Golden you can not use the campground as a residence.
Only those that are residing in a site can book a site. All multiple bookings under one name may be cancelled by Operators of the Golden Municipal Campground. Exception: COMMERCIAL TOUR COMPANIES
Guidelines for Conduct and General Policies

Any conduct that violates our guidelines will result in a ban from the property. Failure to vacate the park may result in your RV or camper being towed at your expense.
We strongly condemn harassment, derogatory behavior, discrimination, and the promotion of hatred. We do not tolerate, overlook, or condone discrimination or harassment and are dedicated to fostering respectful behavior, tolerance, and diversity at all times.

Golden Municipal Campground Cancellation Policy

Evacuation Alert Policy (LOCAL WILDFIRE POLICY)
In the event that the Golden Municipal Campground is placed under an Evacuation Alert, you will be fully refunded for your site minus a minimal 4.9% property charge to cover the cost of credit card fees and software fees.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or Changes: You must cancel or make changes at least 48 hours prior to the date of arrival to avoid losing the remainder of your payment.
No-Show Policy: If you fail to arrive on your arrival date without informing the office of changes to your arrival, your site will be released.
Cancellation Fees
For stays of one night: $20 fee to cancel.
For stays of more than one night: One night site fee (based on the rate of the site you booked).
Early Departures
There are no refunds for early departures.
Agreement to Terms
By booking, you agree to these terms. We highly suggest purchasing travel insurance that reimburses you for changes and cancellations, as our cancellation policy is non-negotiable.
Exceptions
There are no exceptions for cancellations or changes due to:
Breakdowns
Weather
COVID-19 or any illness or injury
Forest fires
Road closures
If the Golden Municipal Campground is mandated by the province or municipality to cancel your reservation, you will be reimbursed. You must agree to this policy prior to booking.

Terms and Conditions
• NOTICE TO USERS OF THE RESORT FACILITIES Assumption of Risk and WAIVER and Release of Claims PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - These conditions will affect your legal rights. “Activities” shall mean, without limitation, all activities in any way associated with or related to water sports, recreational vehicle camping, hiking, fishing and any recreational activities offered by Golden Municipal Campground, including training and instruction, as well as but not limited to use of play structures, picnic areas, fields, sports fields, beaches, lakes, man-made lakes, swimming pools, parks, trails, walking paths, roads, grounds and parking lots. “Property” shall mean, without limitation, any premises, lands, buildings, facilities, play structures, fields, sports fields, beaches, lakes, man-made lakes, swimming pools, parks, trails, walking paths, roads, grounds and parking lots and equipment owned or leased by Golden Municipal Campground. “Resort User” shall mean all adults, children or wards in the registered parties group.
GOLDEN MUNICIPAL CAMPGROUND USER agrees as follows: 1. The Resort User assumes and accepts, without limitation, all risks and dangers associated with the RESORT USER’S use and enjoyment of the Property and participation in any of the Activities. 2. The Resort User ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY for understanding and following the rules and safe practices associated with the use and enjoyment of the Property, participation in any of the Activities, and for his or her own personal safety. 3. The Resort User WAIVES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that he or she has or may have in the future against Golden Municipal Campground and its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated entities and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors and assigns arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with the RESORT USER’S presence at, or use and enjoyment of the Property, and the RESORT USER’S presence at, or participation in, any of the Activities. 4. The Resort user RELEASES Golden Municipal Campground from any and all liability for any loss, damage, physical injury, illness or expense that he or she may suffer or incur by reason of his or her presence at, or use and enjoyment of, the Property, and presence at, or participation in, any of the Activities, due to any cause whatsoever, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER ANY APPLICABLE OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY LEGISLATION ON THE PART OF Golden Municipal Campground, OR OTHER PARTICIPANTS, OR ANYONE ELSE.
