CAMPGROUND AMENITIES

Located in the Downtown of Golden walking distance to Shopping , Fine Restaurants and Entertainment. Along the Iconic Kicking Horse River.  30 amp RV Sites some with Water. Free Sani Station for Registered Campers. On site Store, Picnic Shelter, Good Sam Campground. Facilities and
Services  for Registered Campers Only. No Day Use with the exception of Sani Dump and Convenience Store. Sani Dump Pass can be Purchased Online or use Onsite Drop Box
**Campground does have Video Surveillance  in  Public Area's** 

Free Showers

We have two sets of hot showers for our campers one located in our main office building. The other is located in the campground please see map.  Door code required

Laundry 

Coin operated laundry is available on site 24 hours a day. Only takes Loonies (dollar coins) so plan accordingly. Change Machine is not on site Door code required

Free Wi-Fi

We have two internet services one near our office and one near the rear Wash house. (disclaimer: Wi-Fi service is not guaranteed at your site based on where you are camping due to trees and foliage

Fire Pits

Every Site has a Fire Pit all Campers must adhere to BC and Municipal  Fire Regulations. Fire Permit is Required free with Purchase of Firewood. Firewood is $10 a Bundle. If you bring your own Firewood you will be required to purchase a Fire Permit. See Campground Attendant

Bike and Walking Trail 

Golden Municipal Campground is surrounded by the Golden Rotary Trails. You can access these trails from rear of our campground at two trail heads. 

Train Spotting

Golden Municipal Campground and RV Park resides along the Majestic Kicking Horse River . Across the river from us is the Canadian Pacific Railway. If you are a Train Spotting Enthusiast you will enjoy the River Sites. If you are a light sleeper we would suggest to keep this in consideration. Bring a White noise Machine or Ear plugs.
