The only Downtown Riverside Camping
This is such an incredible campground!! Our site was right on the beautiful kicking horse river with mountains in view. You’re also right in town, but surrounded by nature. Best of both worlds. The bathroom facilities are very clean and the service is great. We had a fabulous stay here and would absolutely stay again. We like watching the trains go by, and while they were louder at night than during the day which was unfortunate, they didn’t bother us too much!

Hot showers are available for campers at two locations.
One set is located in the main office building, and the other is located within the campground (please refer to the map).
A door code is required and will be provided upon arrival.
Coin-operated laundry is available on site 24 hours a day.
Each wash costs 4 loonies ($1 coins), and each dry cycle also costs 4 loonies, so please plan accordingly. A change machine is not available on site. Coins are available for change in the office.

We have three internet services on site—two located near the office and one near the rear washhouse.

Golden Municipal Campground is surrounded by the scenic Golden Rotary Trails, offering guests convenient access to an extensive network of well-maintained walking and biking paths. Two trailheads are located directly at the rear of the campground, making it easy to step out of your campsite and onto the trails.
